It’s Officially Summer! Here are Some Marinating Tips for the Perfect Evening

Best Summer marinating grilling tips

It’s officially summer and that means one thing, it’s time to bust  out the grill. There’s nothing better than grilling out with friends and family on a warm summer night. To help you impress your guests, we’ve got tips on how to marinade and  grill your meat to perfection.

Allegro offers a wide range of marinades. Rich in flavors, you can meal prep for the week or simply make a meal for your family and friends. No matter what the occasion, making sure you use the right marinade can make all the difference in the world.

When planning your meal, make sure you’ve got the right ingredients. Grab some meat, some veggies, and some Allegro marinade for easy grilling. Whether you’re making pork chops, barbeque, chicken, or steak, there’s a marinade for the occasion. From the Allegro Original Marinade, which is a classic for steak and veggies, to more distinct flavors like Tennessee Whiskey, Honey Garlic, Hot & Spicy, and more, these marinades make grilling easy.

Once you’ve got everything together, it’s time to marinate! Place your meat or veggies along with some Allegro marinade into a seal-tight container and place in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours up to 24 hours. Veggies and seafood will have good flavor after only 2 hours. The longer the meat soaks in the marinade, the more flavor it will have.

After Marinating, it’s time to Grill! Make sure your grill is at the appropriate temperature, if using a charcoal grill be sure to preheat for about 15 minutes. You want the coals to reach a glowing red, which typically indicates temperatures of about 500F.

With your meat on the grill, keep the lid closed. You want your meat to reach the right temperature and get a good sear. The more the lid is opened, the slower the cooking time. With a closed lid, the food gets a nice smoke.

Here are some tips on making sure every kind of meat is cooked to perfect—use direct heat on smaller pieces of food and indirect heat on larger, tougher cuts of meat. Maintain the temperature of the grill, whether it’s a charcoal or gas grill, and avoid turning food too often.

With a quality flavor, you can host a barbeque, make an intimate dinner for two, or meal prep for the week with ease.
