Honey BBQ Sauce

Allegro’s Honey BBQ sauce is blended with (you guessed it!) real honey and imparts a true taste delight. Use it as you grill to allow the sweetness to caramelize instead of burning, like many sugar-based sauces. As a finishing sauce, it lends a sweet, flavorful glaze to any dish.

INGREDIENTS: WATER, BROWN SUGAR, TOMATO PASTE, HONEY, DISTILLED VINEGAR, MOLASSES, SUGAR, MODIFIED FOOD STARCH, SALT, CHILI POWDER (CHILI PEPPER, SPICES, SALT, GARLIC POWDER), CONTAINS LESS THAN 0.5% OF: SPICES, DRIED GARLIC, CHIPOTLE PEPPERS, NATURAL FLAVORS, CITRIC ACID, DRIED ONION, CORN SYRUP, TAMARIND, NATURAL SMOKE FLAVOR.

Honey BBQ Sauce Marinade

Pulled Pork

Ingredients
  • Allegro Honey BBQ Sauce
  • Allegro Original Marinade
  • 4-6 lb pork shoulder/Boston butt
  • Injector
  • Smoker
  • Charcoal
  • Favorite wood type (I recommend a blend of hickory and apple)
Directions
  1. Inject Allegro into the shoulder, the more the better. Place in smoker and keep temperature around 220. This is a long process, so be patient.
  2. Cook for approximately 6 hours or until internal temp reaches 190-200 degrees. Once it has reached temp, remove from smoker and let rest for 30 minutes or more.
  3. Take 2 forks and pull meat off the bone or you can shred/pull by hand. Place on favorite bread/roll and enjoy….no sauce needed.
  4. Serve with Allegro Honey BBQ Sauce.
